Hotel Policy and Rules

 

·        Jetset accommodation requests that every guest comply with the Hotel Policy & Rules listed below in order to ensure a safe and pleasant stay in accordance with Article 11 of the "Terms and Conditions for Accommodation Contracts." Please bear in mind especially that if these rules are not observed, we may have to refuse to offer accommodation and/or other facilities within the premises, and in some cases we may charge you for losses that have been incurred.

 

 

·        Jetset accommodation is only authorized to accommodate properly registered guest. For this purpose, guests are to present their valid national I.D card or passport, or any other valid proof of identity to the relevant hotel employee immediately upon arrival.

 

 

·        The hotel is to issue guest with an accommodation card immediately upon registration, which will contain the name of the hotel, the name of the guest, the room number the price for one night’s accommodation, the duration of the stay, and the time by which the room must be vacated on the last day of the stay.

 

·        Guests are obliged to observe the provisions of these House Rules. In the event that a guest is in breach of these rules, the hotel has the right to repudiate the agreement on the provision of accommodation services before the agreed period has elapsed.

 

·        Guests are obliged to pay for any damage they cause, if they are unable to prove that they are not responsible for this damage.

 

·         Complaints by guests and any possible suggestions for improving the hotel’s activities are received by the hotel management.

TO AVOID CAUSING FIRES


1. Please refrain from smoking in places where fires may be easily caused (e.g. in bed) or places where there are no ashtrays.


2. Please do not use/bring any appliances that could start a fire in the guest rooms.


3. Please refrain from other actions that may cause fires.


4. Please do not meddle with the firefighting facilities, as it can compromise safety and security.

 


TO MAINTAIN PUBLIC PEACE AND SECURITY


1. Upon arriving in your room, please examine the map on the back of the door for evacuation procedures.


2. Please make sure that during your stay, your door is closed and locked when you leave your room.


3. Only registered Guests are permitted to use the guest rooms. Please do not invite visitors into your room. To contact Guests, please contact the desk clerk in the Lobby.

 

PAYMENT


1. Please pay for accommodation and other charges at the Front Desk with Fijian currency or by other means such as travelers' cheques, coupons or credit cards that are recognized by the Hotel Management. Please pay at the time of your arrival or entry or upon request of the Hotel Management. In case payment is made by travelers' cheques or credit cards, they shall be shown in advance at the time of registration.


2. If payment is to be made in other currency or by credit card, please note that payment of accommodation charges will occur upon check-in.


3. Cheques other than travelers' cheques (e.g., personal cheques) are not accepted.

 

4. In all cases you may be asked to make a deposit on your accommodation charges upon your arrival.



OTHER RULES
 

1. Please do not bring into the Hotel such articles as may disturb other Guests (dogs, cats, or other animals, etc.), heat emitting or explosive, malodorous material, articles liable to cause danger or other articles of which possession is prohibited by Fijian law.

 

2. Please refrain from shouting, singing, or other loud activities, gambling, actions which may contravene with public morals or decorum, or other activities which may disturb other Guests.


3. Please do not use the guest room, or other facilities for business purposes (exhibition, advertisement, publicity, sales and others) without permission of the Hotel management.


4. Please do not tamper with facilities and equipment in the Hotel. Please use them for their proper use.


5. Please do not display or leave articles in the window, on the balcony of your room, in the hallways.


6. Please make sure that the water has stopped running after you use the tub or basin. If water is left overflowing, it may damage rooms next to yours and on the floor below. In such cases as mentioned above, Guests responsible will be required to pay compensation for damages and inconvenience to the Hotel.


7. Please do not enter the Hotel wearing get a (wooden sandals), roller skates, rollerblades or footwear equipped with wheels.


8. We may refuse to offer accommodation to persons under age who intend to stay in the Hotel without the permission of their guardians.


9. Please save electricity and water to conserve energy.


10. Please note that when you make a telephone call from your room, Facility and Utility Charges are added to your bill.

 

11. In special cases, the hotel may offer a guest accommodation other than that which has been arranged, if it does not differ in any essential manner from that which was stipulated in the confirmed booking.

 

12. On the basis of a confirmed booking the hotel is obliged to accommodate a guest from 10.00 am to 11.00 pm and it is obliged to reserve the room for the guest up to this time unless the booking stipulates otherwise.

  

13. The hotel may offer guests who ask to extend their stay a different room to the one in which they were originally accommodated.

 

14. The hotel is not liable for damage to items that have been taken into the hotel by or for an accommodated person, provided that the damage did not occur in some other manner.

15. The right to compensation for damage must be exercised at the hotel without undue delay, but no later that within 15 days of the aggrieved party learning of this damage.

16. Guests are to use their rooms for the agreed period. If the period of accommodation is not stipulated in advance, guests are to check out by 10.00 a.m. on the last day of their stay at the latest, and they are obliged to have vacated the room by this time. If a guest fails to do this, the hotel is entitled to bill him/her for another day’s stay. In the event that the hotel has already reserved this room beforehand, and the guest fails to heed requests to vacate the room, or if he or she is not present in the hotel, the hotel reserves the right – with a three-member committee in attendance – to catalogue the guest’s possessions and to store them in a safe place so that the room can be used by the guest for whom it has been reserved.

17. Guests may not move furnishings, or interfere with the electrical network or meddle with any other installations such as the television and the internet in the hotel rooms or on the premises of the hotel without the consent of the hotel management.

18. A guest may not use his or her own electrical appliances, which are not used for the guest’s personal hygiene (electric razors, massage devices, hairdryers, etc), in the hotel, and especially not in the hotel room.

19. Lounges and common rooms are available for receiving visitors. A guest may only receive visitors with the consent of the appropriate hotel employee during the period from 8.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. upon entering this visit in the visitors’ book at the reception area.

20. If the guest becomes ill or injured, the hotel is to ensure the provision of medical assistance or arrange for the guest to be taken to hospital.

21. Upon departing, guests are obliged to turn off all water faucets, as well as the lights in the room and its facilities, and to shut the door as they leave and also leave the keys at the counter with the desk clerk.

22. For security reasons, it is not appropriate to leave children under 10 years of age without adult supervision in the hotel room or other areas on the hotel premises.

 

23. Guests are to observe nighttime peace and quiet in the period from 10.00 p.m. to 7.00 a.m., i.e. they are not to disturb the other guests accommodated in the hotel.

 

24. Unless stipulated otherwise in advance, guests are obliged to pay the prices for accommodation and other services rendered in accordance with the valid price list upon arrival, but not for a period longer than 7 consecutive days. The bill is payable upon being presented.

 

25. Jetset accommodation is not responsible for parking or any damages caused to the customer vehicle.

26. No gambling, no sex trafficking and illegal business allowed in the premises.
